Every April 25th, Anzac Day is commemorated at the Australian National Memorial in Villers-Bretonneux. This ceremony pays tribute to the soldiers of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (Anzac) who died during the First World War. More than 100 years later, the emotion remains intact.
Meet at 5:30 a.m. to attend the Dawn Service ceremony at the Australian National Memorial in Villers-Bretonneux ( online registration only ).
Paid shuttles from Amiens to transport participants to the ceremony are offered by Somme Tourisme.
